TTPD

I have listened to The Tortured Poets Department probably 100 times since it came out. I first fell in love with "thanK you aIMee" and as time went on, other songs began to grow on me... Actually... all of them did. I feel like you have to listen to Taylor Swifts Albums a few times to understand how truly poetic and amazing her lyrics really are.. "I can do it with a broken heart" and "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" quickly moved up the rankings and then I watched a TikTok that said to listen to the album in reverse order listening through the lens of a young Taylor singing the songs to herself about her journey in the music industry... my mind was officially blown.. I had all kinds of emotions.. I was kind of sad if I'm being honest.. I haven't convinced anyone in my family to listen backwards and do the same thing so I haven't had anyone else to discuss this with.. I would love to hear what others think though.. Either way.. This little project had me spiraling all weekend trying to piece together the true meaning of each song.. I am not going to find the answer.. I know its all about how we interpret her songs which is what makes her amazing. I did re watch "Miss Americana" and "Taylor Swift The Long Pond Studio Sessions" to try to get back in a good Taylor head space.. It helped..but now I am waiting for her to create a documentary fully explaining TTPD. I'm ready for it Taylor.. Also.. Robin is my new favorite song on the album.
